I’m a new fan of Last Comic Standing. And it was an indulgence I was planning on keeping hidden until this moment where I opened my trap and told everyone reading this.

Never saw the other seasons (were there 2 or 3 of them?) but watching the season premiere last night had me laughing in an uncontrollable, shut up already I can’t take it any more kind of way… well some of the comics caused that, others caused me to look at my laptop and start organizing my emails.

I went and found all the websites for the ones I found funny and I’m going to try and catch a few of them this summer while I’m out of town…. because for some reason it didn’t dawn on them to come to New York to do their shows.

Do I secretly want to be a comedian? No. But since I’m telling all my secrets, I’d definitely put together an act if there was a charity comedy show event and I was asked to be the opener for the opening act’s opening act. I’d pretty much do anything to raise money for charity. Just have to be asked to consider.

Just call me Victoria “eat a worm” Pericon.

(Note to everyone… I’ve never eaten a worm… either from my grandmother’s backyard or on Fear Factor. But I do acknowledge that if I did, I’d probably have a much bigger television career. Hmmm… where’s that “Deal or No Deal” application?)
