In exactly one month the first Mom Authors book signing event of Summer 2006 will happen with the hilarious, witty and ever so fun Betty Londergan, the author of I’m Too Sexy for My Volvo: A Mom’s Guide to Staying Fabulous (Adams Media, $12.95, 224 pages, ISBN 1593375026).

It will be held here in Manhattan on Wednesday, July 19th from 6:30-8:30PM, and moms can walk or waddle into MoonSoup and enjoy all that Betty has to say. Publisher’s Weekly and The New York Times had very nice things to say about Betty, too. And I am happy she agreed to do the book signing event considering her book is a fun read and you don’t feel guilty reading it — meaning it doesn’t make you want to wrap another book jacket around the cover.. like some of the beach trash… ah, beach reads out there make you feel like doing.
