This morning I walked by Natalie’s room and heard her singing “Twinkle. Twinkle Little Star.” It was very cute.
Natalie recently reviewed my friend Tracy’s website. She owns a tee shirt company with designs which are so original and in a market that is so saturated (trust me, you should see my inbox) it’s really nice to see something different. Her website intro had been changed and it featured a … well, I don’t want to spoil the experience… bring your child over to the computer monitor and then click here.
Now that you are back… wasn’t that cute? Natalie thought so. She made me play it three times for her. “Again mama, again.” and “One more time.” After the third time I was worried I’d get it stuck in my head so I quickly distracted her with her Miffy book.
Speaking of getting songs stuck in my head. I pretty much run the risk of humming a tune or outright singing a song if it’s quiet at the office. Even worse is the fact that I sing in the shower. Every morning without fail. Sometimes the whole song, other times about three verses. From 1950s standards to Top 40 countdown ballads. *sigh* I need a life.
Music really is a part of my life. From my high school yearbook quotes. Oh boy that was an eclectic choice. To the music I choose to listen to while on the plane sitting through turbulence. Anyone else think it’s a strange choice to listen to Howie Day’s “Collide” while going through a crazy “buckle your seatbelt, flight attendants ‘please strap yourself in’” flight? Well, at least I didn’t sing.
