Several years ago, my friend’s Acura (yes, I said Acura… do they even make them anymore?!) had GPS factory installed in it and I thought it was pretty cool when we had to take a trip to the mall or the diner for chocolate chip pancakes. Although it was annoying when we missed a turn and it would keep talking and talking.
But since I now prefer driving to flying anyday (no matter how many hours the trip will be)…and yes I know that’s hilarious considering I fly every week… I have become pretty good friends with my portable GPS system when I travel to places I am too lazy to print out MapQuest directions for. Now I even ask for the shortest route to my grandmother’s house. It’s so funny because I pretty much know all the routes to get to her house so I’m bored enough to start testing the GPS… Ahhh, yes, not enough going on in my life.
I really do love my Magellan RoadMate though. After having one I don’t know why anyone would not buy one to use during the summer. Especially with all the family road trips being planned …
