The writers of my favorite television shows only make 4 cents every time a DVD is purchased.
And now they are on strike.
How could I, in good conscious, not support their choice!?
My grandfather was in a union.
My first (yes, I know, I know) husband is a union member.
And I have friends who are writers. Members of WGA.
So I support their decision.
Because I watch TV. Because I have a family of my own. Because they have families. Because I’m not a jerk.
Still don’t know what’s going on or aren’t exactly sure why the writers are striking and actors are supporting them?

for the real scoop on what the writers are asking for deserve.
If you happen to be on YouTube, you can view the WGA America page to watch some show creators, writers and actors rightfully voicing their concerns.
