So I’m reaching out because I can’t find a comfortable median and I figured one of you smartypants may be able to suggest something.

Or if you are one of my close friends, you will probably just get all in my face and tell me what to do.

Either way, I welcome what you have to say.

It’s a fashion related question.

But, wait, even if you don’t consider yourself a fashionista I think you could still provide me with valuable insight.

What’s my problem?

I’ve been wearing jeans A LOT lately. So much that if I keep it up, I may be buried in a pair.

This all started a few months ago in order to not dress down to but to complement the wardrobe of the person I happily spend most of my time with.

My go to wardrobe no matter the time of year (or temperature, hence the dress photo in February on Twitter) was always a dress or a skirt.

If you saw me around town at work events, on camera or just walking to the playground, you would see me comfortably, happily in a dress or a skirt.

The only problem is…. now wearing jeans all the time, I don’t feel like myself. At all.

And I want to vomit at the thought of continuing this charade into the New Year.

So here’s my question.

Is there a way my dress and skirt wardrobe can complement a very casual jeans and tee shirt wardrobe?

I’m not interested in him changing what he wears at all.

I just can’t stay with the style change I made.

There has to be a way I can still dress the way that makes me happy without feeling awkward around him.

Instead you get to read about my guy’s love for his new compact dish rack. You read that right. Really.

While the picture might not do it justice and you aren’t able to hear his glowing review for the Simple Human compact dishrack he bought at Basics Plus, trust me, it was almost comical when he called me over to his sink to watch each dish (and the KOR One water bottle I gave him) drain excess water from the rack directly into the sink.

These are the times I realize I’m comfortable.

Because instead of rolling my eyes and going back to the couch to lay down, I got my camera and took a half assed photo to document the new addition to his kitchen. Ahh it’s the little things. Even though this little thing came with a $40 price tag.

It’s official.

We’re old.

I’m accepting it.

Now get off mah lawn!!!

Like when it’s a chance to have Breakfast at Tiffany and this morning that is what I did.

Every good breakfast starts with mimosas

And an assortment of pastry .. including croissants

And sugar bacon

Tiffany & Co had their holiday decorations up so it was very festive.

Even the Tiffany Blue box fit the season.

I tried on a few Frank Gehry pieces. My personal collection from Tiffany doesn’t include anything from Frank Gehry so this was a treat.

The holiday gift ideas were set aside for us to look at.

Took a photo with Jessica of What I Wore – its doubtful either of us will forget the morning.

Loved this bracelet. Definitely not subtle but not obnoxious. A little like me.

Wearing the new Tiffany Blue box necklace (made of turquoise and diamonds) as I checked out the new nature collection with David.

David is creative. He spelled BLOG using the initial necklaces.

After stopping at several other sparkling display areas it was time for me to go to my next event.

Thanks Tiffany & Co. for treating me like a princess.

And for the unexpected gift as I walked out the door. Will treasure my new Tiffany key necklace.

Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.
