If you’ve known me more than a day, there are three things you already know.

I’m a proud native New Yorker, I love dessert and I love to wear heels. The higher the better.

Originally for Strut I was supposed to wear these black platform pumps from Aldo that are 5 1/4 inches high.

They looked fun, went well with my dress and I had no issue wearing them.

Since I am much more comfortable in heels than flats I was ready to walk the runway in them.

The style is called Kemler and if you want to wear them on date night, they’ll set you back $100.

But when I showed up on Thursday, there was a pair of 4 1/2 inch Carlos by Carlos Santana platform pumps next to my dress.

The highest heels worn by any model in the show!

I had a blast walking in the Carlos by Carlos Santana pumps. They’re called “Women’s Destiny” and only $88 if you want to add them to your wardrobe.

In case you are wondering, I did not get to keep either pair of shoes.
