1. When I hear there’s a new one of those “designers for” (enter name of some large affordable retail chain), I have to immediately go check it out. And delude myself it’s market research. Technically, it’s not even a lie!
2. Maybe in a few years, I will have an apartment big enough for all my random stuff! I currently live in a very Carrie Bradshaw-esque NYC studio. It’s totally adorable - and on an awesome block in a very hip neighborhood - but it’s so tiny, I feel like those little mice running the wheel…and the lack of closet space is something out of Edgar Allen Poe.
3. I never thought I’d make a living writing about beauty and shopping…my two favorite past-times. I really feel like I am living the dream. Minus the closet space, that is.
4. Blondes don’t have more fun. If only they did! However, due to the stereotypes about us, we can get away with a whole lot more crap!
5. Having a puppy helps me have the best parts of motherhood without the actual labor/birth/rearing commitments.
