I find it that work (and school) gets in the way of alot of things.

Errrrm…okay…if anyone was to have a crush on anyone from Duran Duran, it should be on John Taylor, because he is still hotter than any other man as he’s nearing 50. Even Simon LeBon is pretty hot for his age. Nick, I’m sorry, that guy is just…EW!!

I agree on the “crush on Nick Rhodes” thing. John Taylor’s the one all the women faint over. Nick’s interesting during interviews, but he is no where near the stud-muffin John is. Simon used to be hot, but lately, he’s just weird looking. If any other DD member were to compete with John in the looks department, I’d go with Roger Taylor, the drummer. Nah, actually, John pretty much trumps him, too. John’s the epitome of tall, dark and handsome.

Nick Rhodes is awesome. What is so great about John Taylor anyway?!?! I think he’s full of himself. Nick has those gorgeous baby green eyes and that adorable smile and sense of humor to match. John’s just another shallow Rob Lowe-esque “pretty boy” who had every woman who came his way and then ditched them as soon as someone new came along. The last time I heard, Nick’s been in a pretty steady relationship for the past several years now. John Taylor (and Simon Lebon) are a pair of greasy middle-aged egomaniacs who think their shit don’t stink and they treat the average female fan (the ones who don’t look like something that stepped out of Vogue, or a Victoria’s Secret catalogue) like dirt. I can attest to this, because they were totally rude to all the so-called “normal girls” after one of their concerts, but Nick was as sweet and endearing as always. Sorry, all you braindead John Taylor fanatics out there…Nick Rhodes is the sexiest man in the world. You have good taste, Mocha.

no offense honey but calling nick rhodes of duran duran the “sexiest man in the world” is an outright insult to men everywhere. sorry, he’s attractive but nowhere near being the “sexiest man in the world”. that’s reserved for george clooney, johnny depp, hugh jackman…and john taylor. nick’s a nice guy maybe but he’s no john taylor in the looks and sex department. i can see having a slight crush on him back in the day but he is not the “sexiest” anything in the world. i wouldn’t even call him “sexy”. he’s alright but john taylor and simon lebon are the sexy duranies. not nicky.

I’m a diehard John Taylor fanatic since 1982. But I also think Nick is quite cute and funny. I can see women having crushes on him, just as I can see women having crushes on Simon LeBon, John Taylor, Andy Taylor and Roger Taylor. All the Duran men are crushable even as they get older. Though for me John is the man of my dreams to this day.

growing up almost every girl into duran duran was crushing on either simon le bon or john taylor…mostly john taylor. many still consider him the most crushworthy member of the band. there were a few girls who liked andy taylor and roger taylor. but if you liked nick you were branded weird. i kind of liked nick at first, but then like all the other girls i became infatuated with john. i never went for simon but john became the man of my dreams and ultimately my favorite member of duran duran.
